Get Kids Going!

My name is Mike Espinoza. I ran the 2018 London Marathon for the Get Kids Going charity. Get Kids Going is a national charity which provides specialty built sport wheelchairs for disabled children to be able to compete in sports for all ages and levels of ability, including the Paralympics. They also assist with grants to help with their training, travel, and competition fees.

Running has helped me overcome many obstacles in my life. From major health issues, to just becoming a better, stronger person. Being blessed with a healthy baby girl in October of 2015, made me realize how truly fortunate my wife and I are. But it also made me gain a new perspective for so many of those extra special children/heroes who are born with disabilities. They too deserve every opportunity to enjoy sports and competition. I strive to use my running skill and talent for something bigger than myself. Supporting our youth is one way I feel I can do my part. London will mark my 24th Marathon, and I will be dedicating it too all of the children supported by the Get Kids Going Charity. Thank you in advance for all your support. It is truly appreciated.
