2018 South Africa Mission Trip!

Hello friends! As most of you know, I have been making trips to volunteer with Living Hope, a missions organization in the Cape Town, South Africa area, since 2011. The Lord gave me a heart for the people Living Hope serves (as well as the ones who minister there!) from the very first day of my first trip.
This November, God willing, Lynn is stepping out of his comfort zone, just as I once did, and coming with me! We are not 100% certain of what God will have us do there specifically yet (part of international missions is being flexible and willing to do whatever is asked WHENEVER it is asked, with “plans” changing often :) but we do know we will be working alongside Living Hope staff in at least 1-2 of the communities they serve.
As we prepare for this journey in late November (probably over Thanksgiving, from the end of the month and returning the first week of December- approx. 10 days), we are humbly asking for some help. Our total trip cost should be approx. $5,000, so we would like to try and raise as much of that as possible.
Also, we are really asking for prayers during the next several months. Although we are excited, this is a big step for us as a couple and we want to bathe the whole thing in prayer, asking God for direction and that His will be done. Going will also create a loss of income for both of us for one-third of a month, so pray I personally will have faith that God will provide for our needs at home as well. This is indeed an opportunity for us to grow and share in ministry together. Can’t wait!!!
