Help Me Get To South Africa!!!

Hi All,
As some of you may know, I am a Junior at Plymouth State University studying social work. Social Work is something I have been passionate about for my whole entire life, even as a young child. The Social Work Department at PSU is one of a kind and I couldn't be more thankful to be apart of it, and studying under Dr. Kristina Lind, the department head, and amazing role model to us all. She will be taking myself and 19 others on a trip for 14 days. I have been offered a once in a lifetime oppurtunity that will benefit my education and future career of Social Work tremendously. In June of 2018, if I raise enough money, I will be able to travel to Krueger Nation Park, South Africa for the IASWG Symposium. In other words, a 4 day International Association of Social Work with Groups conference. My group and I will be doing a research project and presenting our results to amazing professional social workers from all around the world. Plymouth State is one of the only colleges in the world to be offered this experience which is something I am extremely proud of. After the conference, we will be exploring Capetown and the surrounding areas - the home of Nelson Mandela, and hopefully helping out the impoverished communities around there. I want to do this so badly considering my passion for Social Work - as well as the experience and knowledge I will receive. I have also never travelled outside of the United States - which is something I have been so eager to do. I'm writing this in hopes that I can receive some financial help to allow myself to be able to attend this trip. I need to come up with most of this by February. $3,000 is a lot of money in general, but especially to me. I work very hard in school and with my jobs, but I cannot just come up with this easily. Any help is greatly appreciated. In the mean time, I will continue to work and save as much money as I can on my own. If you could donate anything or share this post it would mean the world to me.
