2018 SF Elite 11s Team to Nationals

SF Elite 11s is an 11-year-old-and-under girls volleyball team within the SF Elite Volleyball Club based in the San Francisco Bay Area. It is comprised of 11 amazingly talented young athletes and led by Head Coach Bill Hew Len and Assistant Coach Rae Steel with tremendous support provided by Coaches Velvet Steel, Riece Steel, and Chaiy Steel.
They started the season passionately about volleyball, were dedicated to the fair play and sportsmanship, but most of all, they shared the common dream of earning an invitation to compete at the Girls' Junior National Championships (GJNC) and THEY DID IT!! They’ve worked hard, played their hearts out and their last win at the NCVA Far Western National Qualifier earned them the coveted National Bid to the 2018 Girls' Junior National Championships (GJNC) taking place in Detroit, Michigan on June 29th through July 1st. Now these girls need your help with the final steps of the journey.
For these girls and coaches, it's been a busy 2017-2018 season so far. Making their debut as a team, together for the first time, they demonstrated consistent success, seeding well in the ranks during the NCVA Girls’ Power League (which is still in progress) and finished notably in the following tournaments:
- NCVA President's Day (San Mateo, CA) - 1st Place, 11s Gold Division
- Windy City National Qualifier (Chicago, IL) - 3rd Place, 11s Gold Division
- NCVA Far Western National Qualifier (Reno, NV) - 1st Place, 11s Gold Division, earning a National Bid to the GJNC
48 of the top teams from across the nation will be competing in the pinnacle event for girls' volleyball athletes. SF Elite 11s clinched an early spot and will be representing the San Francisco Bay Area and California at the Girls' Junior National Championships (GJNC). They will continue to work hard and dedicate themselves towards bringing home the Championship trophy! The team is excited for the opportunity to participate in this once-in-a-lifetime event and experience!
Support the girls’ vision of becoming Junior National Champions by helping us get the players and coaches safely and healthily to Detroit in June for the GJNC. Your generous donation of any amount will help towards expenses such as airfare, hotel, transportation, and food for the players and coaches. We need your help and we need it soon.
