Many people have asked me what I wanted for my 27th birthday. Instead of getting "nice things", I would truly appreciate it if you could help me invest in myself by help funding my trip to New York to attend the Synergy Global Forum held at Madison Square Garden (MSG).
Through the Synergy Global Forum I'll have the opportunity to experience the top thought leaders and influencers from around the globe who will present ideas that can shape the future.
The lineup of speakers includes acclaimed author Malcolm Gladwell; publishing titans Arianna Huffington and Steve Forbes; economist Nassim Taleb; and tech experts Jimmy Wales, Guy Kawasaki and Gary Vaynerchuk.
The 2 day program is centered around cutting edge topics from a wide range of fields: entrepreneurship, management, leadership, efficiency in the workplace, as well as many other subjects to be covered.
Initially, I was going to get the General Admission ticket for $1500, and make it a 2 day trip to NYC. Fortunately, my family has graciously offered to pay for my VIP Access Ticket for $4200. I am SUPER excited to go as a VIP, as I will have the opportunity to actually talk to my idols and role models, and to potentially cultivate a real relationship with them.
Rather than staying only 2 days, I thought it would be a good idea to ask my friends and family to help fund my trip as a birthday present, so that I could stay for a week in New York as well. I've been running our family's martial arts school since 2015, putting in incredible hours on a daily basis and haven't taken a single day off. The trip will allow me to attend an amazing seminar as well as have a mini vacation to recharge, reenergize, and refocus.
