We are proud people that have always been among the first to help others in need. The times have been countless from lending rent and utility money to customers, hosting weddings or celebrations of life, and fundraisers where we even ended up purchasing the lion’s share of the donated goods so that folks could get what they needed to overcome their adversity. Every Thanksgiving and Christmas for the past 5+ years we have put our home cooked holiday meals for free to patrons that have no family and found solstice with our staff in the holidays We are a family business that is being destroyed with our fate being held in the balance of our politicians, media, and citizens grappling over the balance of health risk and economic risk. We are fighters for our employees, entertainers, and our industry that has been hit very hard with no light in sight for we will be among the last allowed to restart our operations, which will likely yield less revenue than it takes to sustain, but that challenge cannot be net until we overcome the present challenge of being ready to open in a safe and compliant manner. We extend our humility in the interest of our family and long time business survival because they are linked and if we lose one we lose it all... Saddle N Spurs Saloon is in to its third month of no cash flow since the March 18, 2020 closure. The popular neighborhood tavern and small live music venue was open 24/7 since November 1, 1984 and has been exhausting savings to the point that customer recommended and government mandated reopening improvements cannot yet be funded. This is a small family owned business that has been hit hard without relief and needs community help from our patrons to be compliant and ready to open when appropriate. No amount of help is too little, even if it is just a matter of sharing our fundraising campaign so that others that are in a better position to help us may hear or plead for assistance.
