200 x 200 Educational Fundraiser

To all of my friends and family, teachers and mentors, colleagues and clients,

The moment of my need has arrived, and I kindly ask for your support. I can use your charity to help me envision my dream of pursuing a formal education in woodworking and restoration. Ultimately, to acquire the degree of 'Meister Tischler', or a master carpenter.

If you receive this email or message and link to the fundraiser, it could be for several reasons, such as witnessing me stand on one leg on a ladder; or sticking my head under your kitchen sink. Or my handcrafted work(s) found their way into your homes. It might also just be that we know one another, and I write to you now with care and respect.

It has become clear that I have an opportunity in Vienna to learn about classical furniture and its craft. Currently, I am enrolled at the University of Vienna to study German, a requirement for my admittance into the furniture and woodworking trade school next year. Any donations you make will help me with the upcoming tuition fees and necessary materials for this broader education. Your donations will also help me bridge the gap between establishing my life here in Austria and the one I cherish in the Netherlands in the coming years.
