20 y.o Hayley's Funeral

Donation protected

Hayley Smith is 20y.o, born on the 11th of July 2000. Unfortunately, according to Hayley’s Dr’s Hayley will not make her 21st Birthday. Hayley has stage 4 cancer with only weeks to go.

Hayley is quite remarkable.  At the age of 15 Hayley decided to leave home and lived a troubled teenage life. After a few weeks without contact we found out Hayley was a few hours away from home and was not interested in returning. Hayley was experimenting with drugs and alcohol and getting into anti-social behavior.

Fast forward a few years later. Hayley found support from the organization Youth of the Streets. With the help of YOTS Hayley decided to go to rebab for addictions to drugs and alcohol, Hayley completed the program. Hayley then wanted to better herself and enrolled back into school.

Hayley was 17 living independently, clean from drugs and alcohol, going to school and working during the night to support herself, she was on a roll! Hayley completely turned her life around.

Hayley was excited about life; she meets the man of her dreams and they moved in together. Life was good.

Then things started going downhill; Hayley was first rushed to hospital in 2019 after she collapsed while running cross country. (long distance running). We found out that Hayley had a cyst on her ovaries the size of a golf ball.

The cyst was removed a few days later but during extraction unfortunately the cyst burst while inside her. The cyst was tested, and Hayley found out that it was cancerous. The Doctors decided to remove one ovary and shortly after Hayley started Chemo.

While Hayley was going through this traumatic period, she still decided to push on with work. How strong willed is that! Hayley commuted via two trains and a bus to get to her work with her infusion bottle in toe. (chemo treatment)

Hayley won that battle.

But unfortunately, Hayley was diagnosed with stage 4 in April 2020. Hayley had a full hysterectomy in June, but the cancer continued to progress. Next step was chemo which Hayley finished in January 2021. In early February, the Doctors told Hayley that there is nothing further that they can do except keep her comfortable as the chemo did not work.

The money donated will go to the Funeral that Hayley desires and deserves.
