No one ever thinks that a tragedy could happen to them, and then it does.
My good friend Sean Holman has suffered the worst horror, the worst tragedy, and a pain that I wouldn't wish on anyone.
3 weeks ago Sean's 27 year old son was in a car accident and besides his injuries, continues to be in a coma at the hospital. As if that wasn't enough, just 3 days ago his 23 year old son was hit by a drunk driver and passed away at the hospital in Lancaster.
My heart aches for the pain and unbearable loss he is dealing with. With hospital costs, funeral costs, time off work and travel to and from the hospital in hopes and prayers that his 1st son survives, He needs all the love and support he can get.
I am asking that you each take a minute to reflect on the children that you have and imagine the pain at losing one of them. Than give your child or children the biggest hug and kiss......and hold them for a few extra seconds. Every moment that we have with our loved ones is precious, and tomorrow's moment is never guaranteed. I can't fully imagine what my good friend is going through with the death of his youngest son, and the possibility of losing his eldest son. It brings me to tears at the thought of ever losing one of mine.
Sean is not only a great Barber at my shop, but he is also a friend, an amazing Father and a brother that I love and respect.
