2 astro turf practise cricket wickets

Holywood Cricket Club has grown from 26 to over 300 children in the last 3 years and we are in desperate need of better practise facilities to sustain these amazing numbers and to allow the kids to improve.

We have no astro turf dedicated practise areas at Seapark, Holywood for any of our 9 Junior Teams, 2 Women's Teams and Men's Teams. This means we have to cut a patch of grass short enough for the practise nets, but frequent rainy weather means that practise can be cancelled due to soggy ground even tough it may not be raining at that time. Additionally, grass is not as durable as atro turf, so we cannot use the grass for as long as we could use the astro. 

We would like 2 astro turf wickets laid so that we can continue our upward development by allowing more kids to practise more often thereby sustaining what has rapidly become the largest Junior Section of any Cricket Club in Northern Ireland. Indeed, we are the only Northern Ireland Club with an all girls team (2). 

All these positive developments are fantastic, but the gains are not yet as secure as we would like. 2 astro turf wickets would help secure them.
