3D Printer For Medical Supplies
Donation protected
We are a team of volunteers serving Deptford township and surround areas. Our all volunteer team includes 2 of us 3D printing supplies for medical staff at area hospitals and directly to local Drs, Nurses and care givers. There is a grave shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPR) for these high risk workers battling the war against COVID-19 and literally doing everything they can to save lives!
We may not be medical professionals but have acquired 3D printable designs for Face Shields, Strain relief straps and more. We currently have 2 3D printers working around the clock 24/7 but the demand to to great. We are looking to the community to help us with a 3D printer so we can do our part to help these workers save lives is the world’s time of need.
Our efforts already in place have yielded hundreds of PPE kits to staff at the places like; Inspira, Hostital of the University of Pennsylvania, twin Cedars, Assisted Living Home, Virtua, and Cooper hospitals.
Our goal is set for the cost of this printer. If by miracle we exceed this goal any additional donations will be used for PETG printing material which is the desired grade of plastic safe and sanitary for hospital use.
Our efforts have already started to help and this could really allow us to take things to the next level.
