Southeastern Reptile Rescue

Southeastern Reptile Rescue provides services throughout Georgia and other Southeastern states in the form of reptile rescue and public education about the value of reptiles in nature. We respond to several hundred requests each week to assist with identification, rescue and rehoming of reptiles. We currently house approximately 200 reptiles that all came from various situations such as surrenders, and even confiscations. To support our rescue efforts, we provide several hundred outreach programs each year to several hundred thousand people aimed at educating the public on the extreme importance reptiles play in our ecosystem. These outreach events provide the necessary funding to allow the rescue efforts to continue. Due to the unprecedented events resulting from Covid-19, approximately three months of educational events have had to cancel resulting in a complete halt to the normal fundraising efforts for Southeastern Reptile Rescue. Currently, we're seeking the assistance of the public for donations in any amount. Funds raised will assist in facilitating animal care, transport of rescued animals along with care and upkeep of facilities. Any financial assistance you can offer is greatly appreciated.
