Save Homebaked

When we opened, 7 years ago, we were very uncertain about opening an American cafe in the heart of Rome. Since that very day, Homebaked has become a community, a place that people can call home, a sort of home away from home. It has become a family, an extended family to all that have passed through its doors. From the weary traveler, to the thousands of students, to the many Italians, customers have touched and enriched the lives of not only myself, Carolina and our kids, but also of those who happened to encounter each other while there. With the global crisis and the total absence of government support, Homebaked is at grave risk of having to close permanently. They say that bars and restaurants could reopen around end of May, more likely in June. We can’t make it that far. We never thought about starting a go fund me to save Homebaked, but yesterday some great friends and customers suggested it, almost at the same time, just like that, out of the blue. And so we felt like we were shown the way. And here we are now, asking you please to help us #savehomebaked. Bless you all and thank you all for your donations, prayers and friendship.
