Keystone Revisited CD

Michael Hinton has Bladder Cancer, and has started chemotherapy in preparation for surgery. Thank you for those that stepped up to help get Michael into the studio to record before he entered the hospital.  Every cent raised here will go towards the manufacturing of the Keystone Revisited CD, "Back At it Again". This project should give him residual income for the rest of his life. We have asked a few special guests to help us with this project and the band will be playing a special show on Bob Weir's internet show, Weir Here. Michael wants nothing more than to be part of this project and get back to playing gigs as quickly as he can recover from surgery. This is the best therapy for Michael, as nothing gives Michael more pleasure than his family, his daughter, and music. We support him fully as a band, and we want him to be a part of this project. Although there will be special guests, we need his unique energy to make this project truly reminiscent of what Merl and Jerry started. Keystone Revisited: The Music of Merl Saunders and Jerry Garcia live at the Keystone 40th Anniversary, performed by Bill Vitt, the original drummer with Merl and Jerry, Tony Saunders (Merl's son) on bass, Michael Hinton on guitar, Jeff Pevar on guitar and Steve Abramson on keyboards and vocals. This project is a CD that will include new original material by Keystone Revisited, revised versions of songs from the Live at Keystone LP, and a bonus track of the first time Jerry and Merl played together, which has not been previously released. You'll get to hear an amazing version of Save Mother Earth with Jerry and Merl from late 1969, as well as your favorite Merl and Jerry songs. The new songs, "It's a Love Thing", "These Troubled Times", "Back At it Again", and "The Love We'll Share",  along with the old familiar tunes, will keep the spirit of Merl and Jerry alive.
