Surgery For Keltie, Senior Dog

This is Keltie, an 11 year old corgi/spaniel that we rescued from a shelter that flooded and closed. As he’s gotten older he’s had several medical issues, including growing fatty cysts and a torn ACL. One large cyst in particular is growing outside of his body on his stomach, and continuously bleeds and has the issue of getting infected and may be causing him pain. Without the removal of the cyst he will continuously run the risk of getting an infection from the open wound, as it leaks through every bandage and gauze we wrap him in, and the future decision may be putting him down, which would be heart breaking for our family. Unfortunately this surgery will cost over $3,000 according to the cost breakdown we have received from the vet.
