Rocking the Life Unexpected: 12-Weeks to Your Plan for a Meaningful & Fulfilling Life without Children
I spent most of 2012 writing this book, which I intended to be just 'a short e-book' but which turned out to be a much bigger book, in so many ways!
Over 200 pages long and broken into 12 Chapter, each chapter contains everything you'll need, including exercises, to follow the same programme as I've created in the Gateway Women Groups and Workshops. The book can be read individually, or as part of a self-organised Gateway Women group.
Rocking the Life Unexpected will be published as an e-book on the Gateway Women website and there is also a lot of demand for it to be a paperback. For this, I need your support.
As you probably know, Gateway Women is funded & run entirely by me and by my work for freelance clients as a writer & consultant. As Gateway Women continues to grow, and more and more women from all over the world need the support of Gatway Women, it's getting harder to run Gateway Women AND find the time to do other work to pay it!
In order to copy edit & typeset the manuscript and other associated production costs (cover design, etc) I need to raise £1500
Everyone who makes a contribution will be thanked in the book.
The book will retail at £12.99 for the paperback and £10.00 for the ebook (although this may change at a later date and is subject to all kinds of publishing shenanigans that I am only just beginning to get my head around!).
I turned down the offer from a publisher because they couldn't get the book ready until January 2014. And I knew that you all wanted (and needed) this book much more quickly.
With your help, we can get the hopeful and empowering message of Gateway Women out into the wider world and make this the year when the taboo of being childless-by-circumstance starts to crumble.
We may not be Mothers but we're here, we care, we count and we ROCK!!
