Save Lives with 3D Printed Face Shields

I’m a local high school student in Hampshire County in Massachusetts . Since I have experience 3D printing I have decided to donate my time and and 3D printer to the Covid-19 prevention cause. Since there are over 500 cases of covid-19 in MA and rising we are facing a shortage of supplies at our local hospitals like Cooley Dickinson Hospital. They are being forced to re-use their face shields which is one of their most vital shields at keeping themselves from contracting Covid-19. Hospitals have either run out of facial shields and masks or staff are being asked to reuse the ones they have posing a major health risk. By using my 3D printer I am able to produce one facial shield every 45mins. It takes $20 of supplies to make 2 face shields. Please by contributing you are ensuring our healthcare workers are staying healthy but also eliminating the possibility of any spread of Covid-19 in the community from re-using a face shield that could be contaminated.
