Baby Alfred Mucheru

Baby Alfred Mucheru is the second born son of Alex Muriuki and Mirriam Kamau, and younger brother to Ethan Mucheru. He was born in December 2018 with a Long Gap Esophageal Atresia, a condition in which a baby is born with gap greater than 3cm in the food pipe. In the course of his treatment, he was recently diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma (a form of cancer common in kids less than 5yrs of age). For this reason, his treatment to correct the food pipe anomaly has been halted as priority has shifted to treating the aggressive neuroblastoma.
