St. Luke’s Church, Germantown is Celebrating!
December 2, 2020 marks the 25th Anniversary of our Rector, Reverend David J. Morris being Ordained as a Priest. He was ordained at St. Andrews In the Field, Somerton, Philadelphia on December 2, 1995 with a mass officiated by The Rt. Rev. Allen L. Bartlett, Jr. Father Dave, as he is fondly called by our church family, came to our Parish in 2011. He lovingly serves with commitment, care and compassion for our members and the greater community while emphasizing the teachings of Our Lord.
To celebrate his anniversary, we invite you to support this fundraiser launched in an effort to enhance and upgrade the church's audio/video and security systems. OUR GOAL: $25,000!
Donations will go toward improving: 1) our world-wide live-streaming of Sunday and daily prayer services and, 2) campus security.
In these uncertain times, physically worshipping together in our churches is being challenged by a relentless global virus. Also, the safety of our church buildings and campuses have become more vulnerable to outside forces. Father Dave and his staff have used all current resources to make St. Luke’s worship services available to all and to keep our doors open so that we may continue serving church members, friends and those around us. But, they can do more if you help! Please make sure this work is not interrupted.
