I Need A New Computer To Be Able To Work

My name is Shane Rounce. Im 30 years old (almost 31) and from Sheffield in the UK. I’m a self employed website developer, photographer, designer and illustrator. I’ve been making things since I got my first computer 20 years ago and I’ve been lucky enough to develop a very particular set of skills that allows me to work from home and take on clients and projects of all varieties over the years. Unfortunate I’ve not been so lucky in many other aspects of my life, including an injury to my back leaving me with nerve damage that means I’m now actually only able to work from home and rarely able to go out (especially in cold weather) or seek regular employment. I’ve also had the misfortune of being taking advantage of by some previous clients over recent years, meaning I have no savings and often barely scrape by. Now I’ve had the additional dismay of my MacBook’s motherboard deciding to pack in on me and thus taking out my entire ability to earn a living or even complete ongoing client projects. I’m in need of many things to help take my work to the next level, though for now all I really need is the ability to carry on doing my work as I have been. So I’m in need of a fairly decent PC, as the sheer amount of work I do requires a decent system which allows for many resource/graphically intensive tasks to be carried out at the same time. I’ve needed to upgrade my system for some time now, as I’d been pushing my previous system for 6 years as it is and I recently also have been doing a lot of artwork and video rendering which really takes its toll. You might be thinking that, as someone that works so much and is always creating things, that surely I have money. Though the reality of a starving artist is indeed quite true and I’m forever putting in hours and working against all odds (whether it’s my health taking a dip or tricky deadlines and long hours through multiple days). I work myself to the point I’m barely able to function so my clients get the absolute best I’m capable of, often at expense to myself. But I’m at a total loss as to what to do here as my computer is my only means to be able to provide for myself. I greatly appreciate anyone able to help me. I’ve lowered the goal to this amount as I still need to take into consideration earnings lost during this downtime and working off the funds. So I still greatly appreciate any help anyone can give to me towards recouping the costs of this build as you really are helping me through a difficult time.
