Timmy Thomas (Homeless) Road To Recovery Campaign

Hello all. I have created this go fund me and am reaching out to you all because I know how much you guys want to help Timmy! For those who do not now, Timmy is a young black male who is a friend and a loved one of many people in the Queens community. Timmy is a 20 year old, who was literally someone who would be incredibly charming & very passionate for others. After a recent coat drive I did,  a closed friend of Timmy reached out to me and told me that he is homeless and asked if we could get him a coat. I was shocked and saddened hearing this news as someone who was friends with him for 13 years now. I immediately went on a search for him not to just give him a coat, but get him off the subways and help him get as many resources as possible. It took me weeks to find him, but god willing, I found him a few days ago at the train station. The first thing he asked for wasn't money, not drugs but food. Upon talking with him and getting food, it was clear to me that his mental health has deteriorated and I was also informed that he was laced. However, hope is not lost and it is only getting better from here on out. On February 20th, 2020, Timmy was registered to get a mental health and psychic evaluation. The evaluations confirmed that he is not mentally stable. However, he is now in a psychiatric ward and is on the road to recovery. However, Timmy cannot do this alone and needs help from the community. I create this go fund me to help Timmy pay for his medical expenses and for his overall necessities. I'd appreciate if we can come together as a community and help!  I am grateful to everyone who has shared my posts and help search for him!
