The Cranky Yankee

Matt is one of the good guys.  A captain on the Savannah Fire Department and devoted husband and father, Matt has lived in the Savannah area for the past 25 years.  And yet, his Boston / Watertown roots are strong.  He still knows how to pahk his cahr like a true yankee.  Matt and his family recently received some surprising and unwelcome news, a diagnosis of Stage 4 pancreatic cancer.   The outpouring of emotional support from family, friends, and his fire family is AWESOME! 

Matt's family (wife Jenny and son Brennan) depend on Matt's income.  Obviously, this is going to be big strain on their finances while he is out of work and healing.  If you can donate, please do.  We are grateful for every show of support.  Thank you for being a part of the web of suport for Matt and his family.
