Hobawea’s A Cappella Academy 2020

Hey everybody! I am Hobawea Nahish Demaray, and I am a 16 yr old alto at Legacy High School in Bismarck, ND. For as long as I can remember, music has been my life and is something I have been passionately pursuing since I was 3. I have been making decisions and sacrifices for the sake of my artistic growth, like moving away from my family to go to school at Bismarck Legacy, and recently being chosen for the ND All-State Jazz choir. 

I  truly owe a lot of my artistic growth to  A Cappella Academy, a program I have been a part of for the past two years. Thankfully, I have again been admitted to A Cappella Academy in Los Angeles, CA for the summer of 2020. The Academy selects vocalists based on a competitive audition process that contains hundreds of auditonees.
