Support Greenwich Men’s Rugby Club

Greenwich Men’s Rugby Club is a competitive rugby team competing in the Empire Rugby Union, playing teams in the tri-state area and beyond. Our mission is to grow the game locally by offering a competitive men’s club in a town that also supports both a strong youth and high school program. Our athletes are local, young men, whom are starting their careers in one of the most expensive and demanding areas in the country. One of our biggest challenges is finding field space for practice and games, and paying for the limited space that is available. Our athletes pay to play the game they love and the goal of club management is to keep the financial burden as small as possible for our players. In the interest of growing the game, as a men’s club, we must support the next generation of players. The Greenwich Rugby Club not only supports a men’s program, but a large, and growing, youth program. The youth program consists of athletes ages 5-16! They also pay to play, as is the case with most rugby clubs. There is a Youth Program Scholarship that pays the registration fee for students who cannot afford it. This helps insure that no athlete is turned away due to financial reasons. In the interest of supporting this scholarship program, 10% of all the money raised by this campaign will be donated to the Youth Program Scholarship.
