Moose's FIP Treatment - Save Mr. Moose!

Moose is an 8 month old kitty that came into my life with his sister shortly before Christmas 2019. Their faces had popped up on my Facebook feed for around 2 months, as they kept looking for their forever home. Finally, one day I just could not see them in that cage anymore, looking so sad and scared. I had to bring them into my home. Moose and his sister Magpie have some health problems, potentially dwarfism, as Magpie has deformities in both her front legs. Moose has always been a very fat bellied little man. Suddenly, 3 weeks after being with us, after just starting to really come out of his shell, Moose got sick. He became lethargic, his belly looked huge, his upper respiratory problems returned. We took him to the vet and found out he had a fever and were given antibiotics for the respiratory infection. His fever broke immediately that night and we were hopeful. But his energy has not returned and he is not eating. Back to the vet, Moose has many signs pointing to him having FIP. A, until recently, 100% fatal disease. However. There is a new drug on the market that has a very high clearance rate to save kitties like Moose from FIP. I need to try. I need to try to save this cat. I promised him I would give him and his sister a good and safe home, and I cannot let them down. The cost of the total injectable treatment for 12 weeks is $6500.
