Jorden’s Top Surgery

Hi All, As many of you know and maybe some don’t, I’m non-binary. If you don’t know, that means that I don’t feel like a girl or a guy. I just feel like me. I’d felt like a sort of like what people call a tomboy growing up but that didn’t really sum it up for me. Usually tomboys actually feel like a girl, but I never really did. I didn’t know how to explain it, even to myself. It wasn’t until I went on a trip for school a couple years ago and I learned a lot of things about myself. I’ve since started using they/them/theirs pronouns and changed my name to a more gender neutral name and it has helped tremendously. I feel more comfortable, understood and supported. Being called she/her was and still is always unsettling and makes me feel sick. I also have felt completely uncomfortable with my breasts since I started getting them. They cause a lot of discomfort emotionally and also physically due to scoliosis. I have been binding my chest for 2 years now and it makes me feel a lot more comfortable for the short term because it give me a flat chest, but it’s not a long-term solution. Binding causes more problems with my scoliosis and hurts my ribs. Therefore, after over a year of research and careful thought, I’ve decided I’m going to have surgery to remove my breasts. I’m ready to take this step for myself! Having a flat chest makes me feel so comfortable. It’s a hard feeling to explain but it makes me feel the happiest I’ve been in my life. This surgery just makes that flatness and happiness permanent for me. Any donation will help me out so much with paying bills during the time I will be healing. I will have to be off work for 3-4 weeks unpaid. I really appreciate the help to get me to my most comfortable body.
