Supporting Kelly and Novie

Kelly experienced a serious brain hemorrhage on December 16th - doctors are still not sure what happened, and we may never know for sure. She is at Holy Cross Hospital in Silver Spring, MD, with hopes of soon moving to rehab (updated: Jan 16, 2020).
As we all know, Kelly is a fighter - but this will be a long recovery. This GoFundMe will help support Kelly and Novie with critical expenses during Kelly's recovery. This will include everything from utilities and other everyday bills at least through the time that Kelly remains in the hospital and rehab, to the costs being incurred by Kelly's parents, Faye and Floyd, while they are staying in DC, away from their home in North Carolina. As other expenses become clear, we will update this page with more details.
*In case Kelly bounces back early and doesn't need all the funds raised, any extra will be donated directly to Special Olympics - a cause that we all know is very near and dear to Kelly and Novie's hearts.
**A quick update to this, because GoFundMe has required us to make it clear to whom the funds are being transferred: as many of you know, Floyd and Faye have been here in DC, with Kelly and Novie every day, since this happened. Luckily, Kelly had been wise enough to set up Power of Attorney for her mother, Mary "Faye" Craven, in case anything ever happened to her. So, all of the funds from this fundraising effort are being transferred to Mary Craven POA, directly into the trust account that she shares with Kelly.
