This summer I will be returning to serve in missions at Kids International Ministeries in the Philippines! I am so excited to share my story with you as I prepare to go
This is my story: Almost three years ago, God said one no and three yes’s. I was ending 2016 coming back from visiting a mission college that God said no to.
But God wasn’t done.
Coming home I started going to my now home-church and workplace, New Life Everett. Saying yes led to serving with kids and youth. I continued to pray for His will as missions was on my heart. One service the Philippines trip was announced. That yes led to what has now been 4 years of saying yes to Jesus and serving with Kids International Ministries in Manila. God has changed my heart forever through the Philippines and has been calling me deeper every year.
At KIM there are so many incredible opportunities to serve such as assisting in the school, playing with kids in the children’s home, being an aid and extra hand for the amazingly midwife in the clinic, taking food and a bible study out to villages, leading VBS and bible studies, working with short term teams, and speaking life and prayers over those around us.
There is no short way to summarize all that’s serving isn’t or has been. There have been trials, weather, joy, laughter, salvations, and love. I have been invited to say yes again and partner with Christ in loving the children of the Philippines from approx July 18-August 8th 2020. I cannot do this alone.
That’s why I’m praying you partner with me in prayer and giving what you can. I will be raising approx 2,200 to cover my flights, stay (3 meals a day, room, ministry costs), purchasing of supplies to bring (pregnancy clinic resources), Trip insurance, emergency fund, and extra to cover expenses that may occur you would be surprised how far a little bit can go. Even the smallest partnership reached to the other side of the world
