For Pet’s Sake ! Please Help Yuna

Hi guys. Some of you know that I recently rescued four feral kittens in the middle of winter. I knew what I was getting into and made the decision to foster them. Thinking of the normal expenses; vaccines, deworming, spay/neuter... Luckily my good friend and rescue partners Cassie and my mom, Michele, are adopting two of them so they’ve been helping with their own kittens bills. I’ve been covering the other two. So far since in my care since November 11th, they’ve been on oral antibiotics, eye antibiotic ointment, fecal tests and dewormed, ear mite treatment, mouth ulcer treatment, diarrhea medicine, and daily probiotics. It’s been expensive , but I’ve had help. One of the kittens in my care still, Yuna, started showing negative signs a couple days ago. Not eating a lot or drinking at all, diarrhea again, lethargic, not playing with her brother, isolating herself, not vocal, just not herself and today she looked and sounded worse. I took her to the vet today. They advised me to get the felv/fiv test, full blood work and an X-ray. She’s negative for felv/fiv. Based on her other results , they transferred me to the Animal Emergency Clinic of the Hudson Valley. They are unsure of what it could be, but some ideas were pneumonia, severe asthma or lung worms. We won’t know until after the 24 hours to see if she’s responding to treatment. She’s on IV fluid and antibiotics and steroids for now in an oxygen chamber. Yuna will be there at the least for 24 hours but very well could be longer . The bill from Kingston Animal Hospital was just under $500. The current bill at the emergency clinic in Kingston was just under $700 , and that’s only half of the high end of the estimate for the 24 hour period. I obviously can not afford this and need to ask for help. I know it’s Christmas , and I know everyone is buying well deserved presents for their loved ones and that money is tight. I hate to ask for help, but I need it . Yuna needs it. This is what I want for Christmas . You can count it as my Christmas present for the rest of my life ! I just want Yuna to get better. For her to come home. Any help at all would be amazing , even just shares. Thank you all for listening. Thank you for caring.
