Alisa Ruiz - Brain Tumor Surgeries

This go fund me is for my 28 year old niece Alisa Ruiz who was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor. She is currently in ICU and is scheduled for her second brain surgery on Monday 12/16. Her first surgery was on 12/12. She suffered with migraines for years and recently began experiencing blackouts and vision changes. An MRI confirmed a very large brain tumor that is compressing her brain stem, spinal cord, and optic nerve. Alisa is a beautiful, kind and caring person. Before this, she was getting ready for Christmas and planning her wedding to the love of her life Masyn. She is a mom to 4 dogs and 2 mini pigs who absolutely adore her. As anyone can imagine, this has completely changed her life. This has been a very trying time for the whole family. Our Christmas will be spent praying and supporting Alisa in her recovery. Her mother Christina (Tina) Mercado-Tyrell and father Jorge Ruiz have never left her side. I am asking for prayers and donations to help Alisa with her mounting medical bills and expenses. She will have a very long road to recovery which can take up to a year. Her surgery on Monday is anticipated to take up to 15 hours and she is facing many hurdles including permanent hearing loss and potential paralysis. All donations will go directly to Alisa. Thank you.
