Support Kevin's Fight
Belle River
native, Kevin Graham, 42, is fighting Glioblastoma "“ a brain tumor that,
although being surgically removed twice, has returned and requires treatment.
This time, surgery is not an option. The
treatment that shows promise in slowing regrowth is a chemotherapy drug that
OHIP and Kevin's private health insurance plan do not provide coverage
for. The cost is exorbitant. Kevin and his wife Dana will be expected to
pay about $10,000 per month. Had they
and their three children been residents of B.C., Manitoba or Saskatchewan, the
treatment would have been covered by provincial health care.
The Grahams
are a wonderful and hard- working family who have a fantastic support system of
family and friends. Those countless
people would like to reduce the financial stress on the family, so that they
can focus on the positive attitude needed to fight this fight, and enjoy their
family time during this time of healing.
This loving family cannot be expected to
shoulder this financial burden themselves on a single income. This is where you can help! Any donation at all will help to ease this
burden, and assist in relieving the additional stress that they should not be suffering
at such a difficult time.
