Casey and I are creating a brand that will encompass all of our whimsy. All of our creativity. All of our experience. All of our dreams.
We need your help. We want more than anything to jump out of the rat race and truly do what we love and what we are good at. Time to put all our hard work and efforts into a project that benefits us and benefits you. But, it is tough to get going and we are asking for your support. Please contribute as much as you can. $5, $20 it all adds up. And more than anything, it shows that you believe in us.
We want to begin this spring, by setting up pop-up boutiques at art shows and street fairs throughout Colorado. We plan on selling an assortment of imported, vintage and handmade goods. We will also be setting up a website and mobile apps for year round sales. We are taking this new idea one step at a time, and really focusing on the first step, however if we are successful, we know that this first step has the potential to fuel whatever we do next.
But jumping in is the most difficult. We really need a $6000 loan to cover stock for our store, fees for participating at the street fairs, and the payments for the online and electronic components of our plan. However, first we figured we would appeal for your support on this project. We are requesting a total of $2500 to purchase jewelry, accessories, art and anything else amazing that I find in Costa Rica and bring back and make it available to all of you. Using our keen eye for the exceptional, we are going to find spectacular, exclusive pieces and bring them back for you!
In just under two weeks, I will be leaving for Costa Rica. My trip is bought and paid for, all of the airfare, hotels, rental car etc is what my family has been saving 6 months to pay for. The money we are requesting will be going directly to buying goods from Costa Rican craftspeople, it will not be used for any other aspect of the trip. I have several days and stops planned out that will bring me in contact with high quality artists and their art. I am specifically seeking out indigenous crafts, but I will be interested in anything amazing and unusual that we are sure our fans will love! I am going to cultivate new relationships so that we can continue buying from these craftspeople after I return home, and continue to bring you items that you can't find anywhere else!
What we need:
$2500 for purchasing handmade exotic goods in Costa Rica. (deadline for this is less than two weeks away)
$2500 for booth fees for 8-10 Colorado festivals during the 2013 season.
$1000 for website, mobile app, photography and other media related costs.
