Elijah's Fight

long post alert Elijah has been sick since Thanksgivings but he got worst Tuesday night. Chkd confirm he had a tumor that attached to his colon. So they admitted him to their oncology unit. Thursday morning Elijah took a turned for the worst. They had to do emergency surgery on him because he’s colon rupture. Which all his biles spilled over Into his stomach. They had to wash him out and leave his wound opened and put a Wound Vac dressing to suction the rest of the toxic waste out. If they would have waited any longer this could have killed him. Elijah is currently on a breathing machine in ICU. He’s under heavy sedation. They did a bed side procedure this afternoon to change the vac wound dressing and did another washout. Monday he’s suppose to get closed and have a ostomy bag put in. He’ll have to wear it while receiving chemo treatment. Chemo can be up to a year. This is a very aggressive cancer. As of right now Elijah is doing good. Thank you all for praying and sending your well wishes. He already beat cancer twice so I know he can beat it a third time. Right now they still have him heavy sedated so he can be comfortable due to the pain. I’m getting asked “what can I do to help” right now pray for my son & family. With having to pay for gas, tolls and medical bill it’s about to be a burden on me. So Family and friends anything you can we’ll truly appreciate it what ever you’re able to bless us with. Thank you
