Peeows Bones Are Broken

Peeow isnt any regular old cat!! He has a very unique personality and is often the butt of fat jokes!! The fat old bugger is like a therapy animal for myself and is usually right beside me keeping me calm. He is 15 years old and golly we have seen some good and bad times together. He knows my darkest secrets and never judges me like humans do. If im pottering around outside at home he is never far behind me keeping an eye on business.. After leaving briefly and returning home monday i found peeow seriously injured at the edge of the rd. He was so broken and his eyes were in shock he was trying to gasp for air and i was screaming and crying thinking i was going to lose my best friend. I scooped him into a blanket and started puffing air into his nose and mouth and rubbing his face to try and ease the shock not sure if i could make the ten minute drive to the vet or if he would even survive the drive..BUT we made it to the vet and whilst spirits were low and bills would be huge i begged the vet to save him no matter what the cost.. His injuries are a broken pelvis, a broken sternum and a fractured jaw..vets are still waiting until he stabilises before they can reconstruct his jaw.its not possible to fix his pelvis or sternum so he will have to be crate rested for up to 12 weeks and heavily medicated with ongoing vet costs..ive covered all costs for his care since monday and a transfer to AHVEC and back again along with the costs of xrays and ultrasounds..my savings are dwindling fast and i only work casually so im hoping all you amazing people in our lives who may have a few dollars spare would you be kind enough to throw it our way to help with on going costs.thank you all so much and if peoww could give you a nose boop he would xxx
