Ellen Shub

The suddenness of CJD affecting Ellen is shocking to us all. One week Ellen begins noticing her peripheral vision diminishing and her cognitive ability failing, and the next week she can barely walk, talk, or see. Horrifying. Now a few weeks later Ellen is in hospice and refusing food and drink, barely recognizing the voices around her. Her remaining days are limited. The loose ends around her will continue for quite some time, and will require funding to meet her obligations. Kathy has of course cancelled all of her acupuncture clients during this several week period of rapid progression of CJD, to great financial impact.
