Real Life, Real Struggle, Real Heartache

Thank you all who have donated this far!! Update: January 1, 2020: Doris is currently in ICU with a collapsed lung and on a ventilator. The doctors are trying to find the blockage and this family needs prayers!! Please share her story and/or donate!! We are praying for your superwoman!! Doris is a wife, mother, grandmother (Oma) and friend! Doris makes everyone smile and regardless of her German accent, you definitely won’t have trouble understanding what she wants to tell you! Doris and Her husband Mark have three daughters, Monja, Sandy and Lisa and have just a few grandchildren too! James, Lundyn, Spencer Christopher, David, Madison, Serenity, Remington, Hunter & Beau ❤️ Recently, Doris went to urgent care with what she thought was pneumonia. Within hours, this families life is forever changed. They’ve diagnosed Doris with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. She is expected to start chemotherapy this week but the insurance may not cover some of the medications needed for her. The doctors are saying that even with treatment Doris has 3-12 months to live!! On top of that, her husband works full time and is on the road a lot and May not be able to be by her side during all these treatments. People don’t just say Doris or Mark. It’s Doris AND Mark!! That’s what we pray we can say for 40 more years!! We know that some can’t support financially, but please share this story with as many people as you can in the spirit of the holiday season!
