Hello, We are asking for help . My family has had a very rough time the past few years. I myself am disabled from a horrific accident Dec 5th. Of 2006. Since then my wife was diagnosed with Wolfe Parkinson White's Syndrome, Extreme Afib ( both heart conditions) that make her 10xs more likely to have a stroke or heart attack. Also with kidney failure and Thyroid Cancer that was treated. And now Lymphoma. We lost her insurance unexpectedly in February of 2020. She has been unable to work since 2015 and we have survived off of my very limited income. But since February I have struggled to pay out of pocket for her Doctor visits and meds. Many months she has to go without since we have a 15 year old son to care for. And simply don't receive benefits from any organizations that are supposed to help low income families as ours. We are rarely able to juggle out our bills that allow us the ability to pay for her visits or meds. We spend most of the month in and out of the hospital with her elevated thyroid levels or Afib attacks. Since she doesn't have insurance most of the time she is sent home. And to add even more our only vehicle is now disabled. We are asking for a hand up out of a seriously bad situation. Her meds are upwards of 300 monthly and doc visits are over 450. We are currently on our 4th year of fighting for disability. The first attorney we let go of finding that they failed to obtain all of her medical records and she was denied. Now we have a different attorney fighting for disability. But due to Covid everything has ground to a halt. We also just lost the only form of transportation we had to make matters even more stressful. What we are graciously and humbly asking for is help getting her the care she needs and help with payimg for her meds and to fix our only vehicle. Any and all help would be helpful. Not to mention Christmas is right around the corner as well which is going to be impossible this year.
