Still Fighting, New Treatment Stem Cell Transplant

Donation protected
I have been fighting stage 4 cancer for over a year. I have 2 types of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. My chemo from August 2018 to December 2018 failed. Next, I was in the work up for a stem cell transplant, however I wasn’t in remission, so they decided on CAR-T trial. I found out on August 19 2019 that it failed and my cancer grew. My doctors decided now it’s time to try a stem cell transplant. I will be in the hospital from Dec. 16 till after New Years. My body has been through so much to get to this point of my transplant. Financially, my husband and I are struggling with medical bills and expenses. We have 3 sons in high school-2 seniors and 1 sophomore. Senior year is expensive and I don’t want my boys to worry. I went back to work briefly, less then 3 months. I’m on medical leave with no pay and we recently moved since we could not afford our home. It’s been very stressful being sick this long and not being able to provide for my boys. My 2 seniors we need to pay for their senior pictures and senior year books. I know they will have cap and gown expenses plus more before May. We have one income and it’s not enough to cover all the expenses. I feel like I constantly need to apologize to my husband and sons for being sick and not being able to work to help provide for them.
