Autumn’s Vet Bills

This year for Christmas I’m not asking for anything for me, but rather help for my sweet old kitty Autumn. Many of you may know my kitty or know of her and are aware of how amazing and friendly she is. Although I am unsure of her true age, (she’s a rescue) we believe her to be around 13 years. At her annual vet visit it was noted that she had lost some weight, which is not unusual as she ages. Unfortunately by the time we needed to have her booster done, 3 weeks later, we noticed she lost a pound and a half and was hardly eating or even moving much for that matter. They immediately started running tests and pumping fluids, test results came back to show her kidneys were in very rough shape and starting to shut down. After a full day of hospitalization, fluids, antibiotics and anti nausea; she started getting better. Unfortunately over those two days I had racked up over $500 in vet bills and we aren’t quite finished yet, she is due for a recheck and has now been placed on a rather expensive diet to help repair her kidneys. I know money is tight around this time of year for everyone, including me, so I am reaching out to my friends, family and fellow animal lovers. Any little amount is appreciated ❤️
