This is tough. But many of you have asked how you can help. While I go through treatment to crush this cancer in my body, this will certainly help me defray the costs to diagnose and treat this bastard.

After a stop in the emergency room, 8 days and 7 nights in the hospital, a handful of chest x-rays, a few CT scans, one bronchoscopy, one thoracic surgery, one bone marrow test, one PET scan, lymph node pathology testing, breathing treatments, steroids, antibiotics, more vials of blood tested than I care to think about and several pairs of grippy hospital socks, I’m expecting to be shelling out 5 figures just to cover the diagnosing part of this journey.

This, of course, all occurred right before I start a new plan year on Dec. 1 and reset my insurance deductible. I’ll have radiation therapy and all the follow-up tests, in addition to all of the fun stuff that’s already behind me.

Your help will allow me to provide Julian the same quality of life that I have in the past and provide for his present and his future.
