I Won the Choreo Festival! And now...

Hello Friends! Some of you may already know this, but a few years ago I started my own contemporary dance company here in the South Bay. What began seven years ago as a simple experiment in choreography with teachers that I worked with at the School of Dance and Music turned into a deep passion of mine, Kairos Dance Company. Though most of you know me as a Muiscal Theatre Choreographer, my heart lies with modern and contemprary dance, and I have been lucky enough to fulfill that passion by having my dancers perform my work throughout LA, in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Palm Desert, and Denver CO.
Two pieces of my choreography were accepted to the Rocky Mountain Choreographer's Festival in February of 2013. Thanks to the wonderful support and love from so many of you, my dancers and I were able to travel to Utah and perform. Your generous donations provided not only airfare, but costumes, dancer stipends, and room and board!
It was a fantastic event...and the cherry on top of it all was that we ACTUALLY WON! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!
As Festival Winner, I will have the opportunity to present an entire evening of my own choreography at the Peery's Egyptian Theatre in Ogden Utah this October! I am blessed and grateful for this amazing opportunity! Thank you all for helping me reach this goal!
