Helping John and Heloisa King

John is originally from Wisconsin and has lived in Arizona since 2015 with his family. He has been married to his wonderful wife Heloísa for over 14 years and they have 3 great kids, Bella (13), AnaLuisa (10) and Joshua (2.5). He loves spending time with his family, playing music, serving at church and has a passion for learning new things. John has served for over 25 years in the Army Reserve components.
After spending 15 years enlisted, he graduated from officer candidate school and branched to the Field Artillery. John is currently a Civil Affairs Captain in the Army Reserve. He has spent 18 months total in Iraq and Afghanistan, and has trained all across the United States. He has also spent an additional 17 months oversees using his skills as a DOD contractor supporting Special Operations. John loves the military and he is looking forward to getting Major next year.
After looking into some GI discomfort and abdominal pain, he and his wife found out that he has colorectal cancer that has also spread into the liver. Our first step is to take out the tumor then to attack the rest with chemo. Because of John’s background as a soldier, he will take the fight to the cancer. He has the will to fight and win. He appreciates the support he is getting from the Lord, Jesus Christ, his family and friends.
These funds will help to support their family during this difficult time, and continue to provide for their family while John is out of work fighting Cancer. Thank you for your donations for this incredible family that impacts the lives of so many!
