Jenny O'Brien Shipp 4th Battle with Cancer

Jenny is fighting cancer for the 4th time since 1997.  She has been victorious against cancer 3x and she will be again.  She has a strong spirit and has kept her positive outlook and sense of humor.  She was originally diagnosed with Leukemia in 1997 and after two bone marrow transplants and graph vs. host disease along with other complications, she was finally able to start her career in teaching in 2005.  She met her husband, Andrew, who is also a teacher and they were married in 2013.  In 2017, they had their miracle baby Maddy.  She was born premature and had a 3 month hospital stay but, is now a thriving, happy, healthy toddler.  Unfortunately, in 2018, Jen was diagnosed with tongue cancer and had to have a portion of her tongue removed.  Her Physicians continued to monitor her as they were concerned that she would develop cancer in her lymph nodes.  In August 2019, this concern was realized.  She had her lymph nodes removed in September and is now undergoing radiation and chemotherapy.   

Jenny is a teacher and is not able to work during her treatment.  She ran out of sick days as this battle began.  As a result, she is now going without pay during surgery, treatment & recovery.  Many people have asked what they can do to help.   If you are willing and able, monetary donations are needed to assist with medical costs and everyday living needs for Jenny, her husband, Andrew and their sweet 2 yr old daughter, Maddy.
