I need you to help me save my life! I'm a thirty five year old married father from Birmingham Alabama and was diagnosed with Late Stage Chronic Neurological Lyme disease in June of 2012. If caught early Lyme disease can sometimes be successfully treated with a short course of antibiotic medications. I was bitten by a tick in June 2008 and went to multiple doctors that did not diagnose my condition properly and my infection was allowed to grow and spread to every system in my body over four years. Heavy steroid injections for back pain destroyed my immune system allowing the infection to invade my brain.
Your donations will be covering IV antibiotics, IV supplies, weekly labs to monitor medication effects, dressing changes for IV catheter line that goes to my heart, nutritional supplements to help strengthen my immune system and also doctor visits with my Lyme specialist that is out of state. I am trying to receive disability to help cover the things that are keeping me ALIVE . Right now I cannot afford the supplements that are needed to restore the damage that is done by this affliction.
I lost my job because of this terrible disease and I have been home bound for the last year. All I want in this world is to be able to provide for my family because in addition to this disease that destroys your body much like AIDS , I am a VERY PROUD father of a special needs son named Jackson who is seven and autistic making his little world different than most children . I'm going to be a productive member of society again as soon as GOD decides that for me and be able to stand on my own two feet in order to fulfill my GOD GIVEN PURPOSE!!
