Lifesaving Surgery For Alex Mueller

Alex Mueller graduated high school in the spring of 2019. Alex, like all seniors in High School had to make a big decision for the next chapter in his life. As many friends were selecting colleges or joining the workforce, Alex proudly joined the US Marine Corps.! Alex spent his summer working a job to save money and prepared for boot camp with daily intense, vigorous work-outs. He excitedly counted down the days until his scheduled departure for the Marines. As many of us experience, life does not always go as planned. A few weeks prior to his scheduled departure for boot camp, Alex became ill and was hospitalized. Medical testing revealed that Alex has a brain tumor.  Surgery is Alex’s only option but he is staying positive and still determined to serve his country. Alex explains to his friends and family that he has only put his dream to serve in the military on temporary “hold”, just until his health concerns are resolved. Medical professionals remind patients undergoing medical surgery that your mental outlook makes a huge impact on your physiological stress levels and your body’s ability to recover. For that reason, we want to give Alex the best chance of full recovery by relieving his financial burden from past hospitalization and his upcoming brain surgery. The purpose of this Go-Fund-Me is to pay for his medical bills and related expenses. Money will be placed in a account managed by me, Karen Wise, a life long friend of the Alex and his family residing in Chagrin Falls. Payments will be made by me directly to providers. The goal is to offset the balance he owes after his insurance is processed.  By uniting together in financial donations we can lighten, if not remove the financial burden plaguing this 18 year old’s mind. Alex is willing to sacrifice his life to protect ours and this request is for a financial sacrifice to help protect Alex. Prayers for Alex are requested and privacy during this time for him and his family are greatly appreciated.
