Lauren's London Marathon - Rebuild School Zimbabwe

My name is Lauren Di Ventura and I am running the London Marathon 2020, to raise funds for the rebuilding of a school in Africa.
My friend Veronika grew up in rural Zimbabwe. On February 13th 2019, a violent storm hit her old school during lesson time which caused the following devastating damage to building and injury to students:
· Seven Children were injured and some needed hospital treatment
· Roofs were blown off two classroom blocks, and some of teacher’s accommodation was completely destroyed
· Irreparable water damage to the children’s books, furniture and personal belongings of the teachers

Because of this disaster Veronika has set up the www.RasaSchoolsFoundation.org
Getting the Funds to the school:
Veronika is working closely with the Headmaster and School Council, and they pay the merchants and labour directly as and when required.
