Two Sisters Battle Lyme Disease

I am the mother of two beautiful girls, Laura and Anna Matthews. Laura was bitten by 3 ticks when she was 6 and started developing symptoms right away. No one tested her for Lyme disease for 10 yrs. It wasn't until she started having seizures, lost grasping skills, developed Raynauds, Keratoderma(severe feet peeling) and many other illnesses that we were advised to have her tested for Lyme disease. During her 4th year of treatment her sister started developing symptoms that became alarming so we decided to get her tested as well and she tested positiv e also. Laura's treatment has been successful so far with minimal setbacks. She is currently having new neurological symptoms.Currently she takes 45 pills daily to treat immune dysfunction, Lyme,Babesia and Bartonella which are coinfections to Lyme.She is able to function. Anna takes 20 pills daily for Lyme, a deep seeded strep infection, thyroid issues and anxiety.The majority of the treatment for Lyme is not covered by insurance. We have been told we have a ways to go. We spend a very large amount on medicines each month for both girls. Please keep my girls in your prayers.
