In 2020, the Church will commemmorate our Ukrainian Moses, Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky, on the occasion of the 155th anniversary of his birth. In honor of this remarkable person, I wish to refurbish one of the rooms in the Cathedral Hall into a space that reflects the vision of Metropolitan Andrey (St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral). This room should be a place where youth gather, where catechism is taught to both children and adults. This room will house a library, a large conference table with comfortable chairs, a projector and screen for gatherings and meetings, a coffee station, and tabletop games, guitars. The atmosphere in this room should reflect the comforts of home, where each person who enters feels that they are appreciated and essential. This room will help cultivate and forge the future of our parish. For this reason, I am turning to anyone who is interested in providing material help to see our idea through. У 2020 році Церква буде вшановувати постать українського Мойсея – Митрополита Андрея Шептицького, з нагоди 155-ої річниці від дня його народження. В честь цієї видатної особи бажаю відновити кімнату під катедральним храмом св. Миколая. Ця кімната має бути місцем, де буде збиратися молодь, де буде проходити катехизація для дітей і для дорослих. У ній планується розмістити бібліотеку, закупити великий стіл, зручні крісла, полички для книжок, проектор з екраном, кавоварку, гітари, настільні ігри. Це має бути атмосфера домашнього затишку, де кожен буде себе почувати як в дома і буде розуміти, що ним цікавляться і його потребують. Це буде свого роду кузня, де буде плекатися майбутнє парафії. Тому звертаюся до усіх небайдужих людей про матеріальну допомогу. Кожного дня молюся за тих, хто чинить добро! Отож разом плекаймо наше майбутнє вже сьогодні.
