ROTARY BAHAMAS HURRICANE RELIEF

Richmond’s four Rotary clubs are joining forces for the first time, to raise funds for the disaster-stricken Bahamas in the wake of Hurricane Dorian. Led by the Rotary Club of Steveston – and its past president and current board member Rick Duff – the clubs are hosting a 1K Walk or Bike for Bahamas Hurricane Relief on Saturday, Sept. 21 at Garry Point Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. As well as collecting donations to take part, Rotary volunteers from the Steveston, Richmond Rotary, Richmond Sunset Club and Richmond Sunrise clubs will be offering a barbecue hotdog lunch for a minimum $5 donation.
