Haiti Medical Mission

Hi everyone! Volunteering has always been a passion of mine, and participating in a medical mission abroad has been a dream since - oddly - even before I decided to join the medical field. Therefore, I am excited to share that I have been included in an upcoming mission to Bishop Joseph S Hospital in Haiti with the Catholic Medical Mission Board, a global, faith-based NGO providing long term medical and development aid to impoverished communities, with a special emphasis on women and children. In 2016, in partnership with Mercy Health, the Bishop Joseph S Hospital opened its doors to serve the people of Cotes-de-Fer, a population of about 50,000. The volunteer program is integrated into the structure of the facility to expand specialty services and outreach.
